The best way to get from Miami to Key West?

I will be going to Miami next week and Ill be there for seven days, maybe a day or two more. Anyway, the business we are finishing there should not take more than four days so we will have some free time and we thought of visiting Key West. What is the best way to get from Miami to Key West? We do not have much time, so we need to spend it wisely.

Maybe the best thing you could do is pay for a guided tour through Key West. You could find one-day trips and in that day you could find out anything that needs to be known about Key West, how to get there, what are most interesting places etc. That would be my choice of action. After that, you will not need any tour or guide. You will know everything!
