Hi there. I am a 26 year old diabetic woman from Germany. I am going to Singapore next week and I am a bit worried. I am taking plenty of insulin with me to last me while I am over there. I can't help but wonder what will happen if I would need medical attention. How do I reach a physician over there if something might happen to me over there. Can somebody tell me what to do. How can I find out.

Hello. I think I can give you some advice on the matter. To start with it is always wise to carry a note from your own GP to indicate what medication you are on and how much you need to take daily. I would also take the address of you embassy in case they need to mediate if you do get ill. There are plenty of good doctors over there that can help you and they do speak English as well. Good luck and I hope you will not get ill.
