Hi! Ok, I know Japanese people are so disciplined and they are always the best in technology fields but theres one thing I do not understand. What is so special about gardens in Japan? It seems to me they can spend whole life just doing the garden. So strange Can you help me, please? Thanks.

Hello! I think youve missed the point. Gardens are not just gardens, back yards with plants, thats our western way of thinking. Gardens are spiritual experience deeply connected with Buddhism. Sand or small stones are carefully arranged like a symbol of water if the water is missing. Everything there is placed as a symbol of inner peace.
