Hello, my girlfriend and I are traveling through China and as we will be coming to Hong Kong our plan is to go to the Japanese capital Tokyo for a weekend. This will surely be a short period of time for such a big city so we are wondering what to see and do during our stay there. Are there any special places to visit.

Hello, a weekend in Tokyo is certainly a short time to experience all of the best things it has got to offer. However even in that case it is possible to get a good sense what is Tokyo all about. The symbol of the city would probably be the Tokyo Tower witch in form resembles a lot the Eiffel Tower. It has an elevator that can lift you up to the top of the structure which is 333 meters in height. That way you'll be able to see the beautiful panoramic view of the city of Tokyo. Be sure not to miss out the most respected and glamorous shopping district Aoyama where you will find all the brand names from the high fashion world. Try seeing the Ginza and the Shinjuku which are places where all the young people go out to have fun and show off their new specific clothing styles.
