Surf trip to Mexico or south america in July

I have learnt to surf in the United Kingdom and although I really enjoy myself here, the water is cold and I would love to explore warmer seas. I heard there are great places for surfing in South America, especially Mexico. Who knows something more about this? Any comments are welcome. I would be able to go in July.

I am heading there in July too. I want to sea the Puerto Vallarta for some action! Are you from the UK? I am from France and if you want, we could go together. I havent got any tickets booked so we could arrange something. Do you have any specific wishes where you want to be going? I am easy, as long as there are great waves!
