I have been thinking of going to Mexico for last two months. I guess I would like to learn more about their culture and way of living. What are important spots at Pacific coast of Mexico? Are there any tours that include those? I would like t prepare everything so that my wife does not have to worry much about the organization details. Usually she is in charge of that, I would like to surprise her pleasantly, at least this time.

You could go for a tour that starts and ends in Mexico City. The first day, you will just rest at a hotel upon arrival. Next day you will be visiting Basilica of the Virgin of Guadalupe (one of the holiest shrines in Mexico). Next two days you will be in San Miguel de Allende, visiting its monuments and shopping. Fourth day Dolores Hidalgo with finest Talavera pottery! Day 5 and 6 Guadalajara, birthplace of mariachi! Last two days of the tour, you will find yourselves in Puerto Vallarta, enjoying scenic Pacific Coast drive. I think that the tour is around 1000$, but you have to check that.
