| I am planning to visit several countries in South America, perhaps this year and the next one too. I was thinking to start with Bolivia. I guess all those stories abut the cradle of coca has made me interested. Still, I know that there is more there than just drugs, so I would like to know what are best things to see in Bolivia. |

| You are right. Lately, Bolivia has been known as one of the countries with vast fields of coca (26500 hectares under this herb in 2005). Unfortunately, this is something that is driving tourists away, especially those from Northern America. As for things to see there I would recommend a tour of lake Titicaca, Salar de Uyuni, Jesuit Missions, national parks, etc. Of course, two largest towns there, La Paz and Sucre (City with four names) are also very interesting. |
