Which hotels would you suggest while in Miami?

My next stop is Miami. I will be there for no more than five or six days and I would like to know which hotels would you suggest while in Miami. I dont need anything too expensive, just higher than average is quite enough for me. I would stay at my sisters place, but her husbands entire family is there for a vacation, so its out of the question.

I would suggest you the River Park Hotel & Suites, an excellent place in the center of downtown. Rooms are very spacious and elegantly designed. The hotel is near to Miami convention Center, also near to shopping area, and only couple of miles from Port of Miami. And of course, you could always leave all this and head straight to Key West!
