My best mate and I will be shopping in New York in two weeks time I cant wait to see those Mahnolos and all the other things! Only everyone says it is not safe out there on the streets. Is this true, and what you we watch out for? Is there a danger of terrorist attacks? And how about two women going out together late at night, is this dangerous? Thanks for your comments.

NYC is just like any other big city when it comes to safety. I wouldnt worry about terrorist attacks, as the chance of these is quite small and anyway you wouldnt be able to do anything about it. There are lots of pocket snatchers around, so be careful to hide your purse. One thing you need to watch out for when going out, is never to get into un unlicensed cab as this can be very dangerous,
