Hi! Had to respond to the people who've had bad experiences with Emirates. My experiences have nearly always been good and the one time things didn't go so well, due to Dubai Airport being closed because of an aircraft with a collapsed front wheel whilst attempting take-off - nobody hurt, thank God! -
I was delayed 9+ hours in Jo'burg, and was re-routed to Heathrow in the pandemonium at Dubai. Emirates refunded my cab fare from Heathrow to Gatwick, delivered my luggage to my door the next day and gave me several guaranteed upgrades on my next flights with them. Can't think of anybody I'd rather fly with.  |
