I was planning on visiting southern parks in Tanzania in May this year but I was advised to have this visit somewhere from August for the ugly weather there in May-so I am interesting if this is true or not or should I keep on with this idea of going there in May. I have 10 days off in May and I thought it would be good to visit some of these southern parks in Tanzania but I will also be having 2 weeks off by the end of August so what do you suggest –should I quit visiting Tanzania in May.
Sure you should quit visiting Southern parks in Tanzania in May for it is well known there that somewhere about that time-from February more precisely up to June- the rainy season begins and the second rainy season last from November to December. So I would say August is the perfect period for visiting these southern parks there despite the facts that is winter time there in August but it is not like it is that cool though you should wear sweaters and jackets and the temperature really drops at evening.
