What is the main Iznik tourist attraction?

What is the main Iznik tourist attraction? I’m going to Turkey this summer and I plan to visit everything thoroughly because my parents are of Turkish origin. I’d like to see the most important tourist spots in this city and have some fu while I’m there. If you know something about Iznik, it would be great if you can help me with your suggestions.

Oh, I really don’t know. I have been there recently but all I can remember is that there were some ruins and numerous mosques so if you like that kind of stuff help yourself. I understand that your parents originate from Turkey but I still don’t get why not visiting only the most famous and attractive vacation resorts such as Marmaris, Antalya or Istanbul. There is no point in going to the cities which are not so famous. Turkey is very beautiful country and I suggest you to revise your itinerary and make it a bit better and more interesting. I’m not sure whether you can have some fun in Iznik. Don’t get me wrong because I just want to help as I haven’t been impressed with this place.
