I have heard that Galapagos Islands are an excellent place to have a holiday. Since I have some two weeks available, I would very much like to go there, but I am simply not sure what to expect, what the island is like. Any information would be very helpful, and would mean a lot to me.

Galapagos is probably the strangest place I have ever seen. When you first look at it, it can really look like some scenery from hell. It is not that it is ugly, in fact, quite the contrary. It is that its long volcanic tradition made it look the way it looks. The earth is completely scorched, with fiery flows. It seems as if no life could ever survive. However, Galapagos is teeming with life. There are many iguanas, for example. Also, there are famous gigantic turtles, which on average live longer than humans. Sea Lions and other exotic animals and birds will just fulfill the picture of very vivid and very beautiful area. Two weeks should be enough to experience it in full, so do not hesitate to book your flight.
