I remember visiting Venezuela about almost 15 years ago but at about that time I was only 13 but still I remember well that trip –I just had a great time there and my mom loved going there. Anyway it is been more than a decade now I haven't been to South America and am planning on visiting Venezuela this year again and would like to hear is Venezuela still a nice place to travel around? The thing is that I somehow remembered the nature but am not sure what are the nicest spots there in Venezuela for it is not like I would be staying only in Caracas –I am planning actually on traveling all around but am not sure how nice it could be these days? Thanks!

Venezuela is a beautiful country and it is always been a nice place to travel around. Usually people there travels with bus but of you are a tourist I would always suggest you hire some car there in Caracas first and start this Venezuela tour to wherever area you want-wherever you reach you will be fascinated by the nature –go see Andes and central North where from you may visit Guyana also. Anyway there are much nice places in Venezuela and one of them is Los Llanos which lies between Andes and the delta of Orinoco River and is famous for its wildlife –there you may find monkeys, caimans and those big cats and it is best to visit during dry area. Don't miss going to the northeast –I loved going to Isla de Margerita-tourists usually go there. La peninsula de Paria is also very interested with its small Rio Caribe town. Anyway while you are there try visit Archipelago Los Roques with beautiful coral reefs and white sand beaches but you can’t reach these islands by ferry for there is no one-only by aircraft from Caracas.
