A mix up at the baggage claim

Please help me! I don’t know what to do. I have just arrived from my trip to Far East and am desperate. The trip was really nice if it wasn’t for the mix up at the baggage claim. I got my baggage but when I arrived home and opened a suitcase it turned out to be somebody else’s baggage! I had some really dear things in my suitcase and now I am afraid that I will never see them again. What shall I do?

Don’t panic. It is not the end of the world! You have to act fast. The sooner you report this thing to the airport personnel the better your chances will be to get your things back. The other person is also involved and I assume that he/she will notice the mix up and also report it to the airport authorities. So, they will notify you as soon as both of you bring the suitcases to their counter.
