The airplane did not wait for me!!!

I was so desperate and furious last year that I thought I will never get on the plane again. I was late to the airport so I called and begged and cried over the cell phone for them to wait, 5 minutes, 3 minutes at least! The airplane did not wait for me!!! Actually, it did, for about second and a half! I complained but they said that the flights must follow the schedule etc. I almost lost my job because of this.

You cannot blame employees for that. They were doing thier job and I must admit that it really was your fault for being late. They are not obligated to wait for anyone, but are obligated to leave on time and are obligated to deliver the passengers on time to the destination. So, think about it like this what do you think how many people were there on that same plane, praying for the plane to take off even minute sooner, because they are also late for something?
