Can someone please explain what has happened between BA and FlyBe? I thought that BA FlyBe link could not be severed but I guess that did happen at the end of the last year. Who could make more profit with this decision and whose idea was it in the first place? I am just curious will it affect the quality of BAs flights, since I am their devoted client

Ill quote Willie Walsh, BA chief of connect: There was no prospect for profitability. How serious their decision was, you can see by the fact that they have paid 150m to stop doing business with FlyBe. I guess that true reasons will never be found out, but W.W. said that it was enough of losing 1m each month. Serious numbers, I have to admit. I just dont know how this has affected employees, I guess there will be some cuts made (I guess that already happened).
