What are the options for CDG layover?

I will be making a few hours stop at CDG in Paris and I would like to know what my options for that time are. And there is always a possibility that something will go wrong and that few hours will turn into a layover. So, what am I to do? Do you have any advice?

Well, it depends. You could always boo a room at some of the near hotel and just continue with your trip next morning, or you could try to spend the night in the city and experience some of the Paris night life. Still, if you do not know where exactly to go and do, that might not be such a good idea. But for me it is better than sitting in a hotel!
