Trip to Gouria

I need some info on trip to Gouria for I will be staying at Yaounde next month and am also planning to have a trip to Gouria –for my ex colleague is there working as a teacher in one school there in Gouria-he will stay there for a period of 2 years teaching and I would like to see him but it is just that I am not managing to hear with him for as I understood there is no telephone lines. Anyway I am interested in getting some info on this trip to Gouria-how to get there?

Well it is not easy reaching Gouria for it is located in the extreme north of Camerron and though the mountain landscape there is beautiful there is only some dirt road all the way to Gouria so you will need more than 2 days to get there starting from Yaounde. Anyway there are no telephone lines and there is no running water as well as the electricity and so I managed to stay there only for a week but I don’t think I could stay there for a little longer and also you need 2 up to 3 days extra to get back to Yaounde but despite this Gouria is a beautiful village and people there is very kind and friendly.
