| I live in New York, but also have some friends and several associates that come here and stay in hotels during that month. Now, what are the rates like depends on a hotel, but there are some that increase their rates by some 5 to 10 per cents, and more of those that lower it. For example, one very decent hotel if you are not too demanding, is Hotel Franklin . It certainly does not go in the class of top-notch hotels, but if you come in early September, the price is especially low (some 160$ a nigh). It is not bad at all, considering that rates of hotels in NYC have overall increased, and that, as I have said, many hotels charge even more in September than, say, in the beginning of July, when the rates are lowest. Hope this helped! |
