| Hi, my wife and I are moving soon to Dhaka, since I signed a two-year contract with one international school there. I will be working on this project of teachers training and I'm so excited about it! But we have recently discovered that my wife is pregnant and by the time we will be moving, she is going to be pregnant for 12 weeks. So, I'm little bit concerned about her moving to Dhaka? Is it safe for her? What vaccination should she take? Thanks you very much in advance! |

| First, I would like to congratulate you on your project, you must be very proud! As your wife's pregnancy concerned, I think you should actually ask her doctor (ginecologist) what to do and which vaccinations she has to take when you get there. As I know, Yellow fever vaccine is REQUIRED for Bangladesh for all travelers except infants up to six months old. Other vaccines are recommended. After you take Yellow fever vaccine, you will get International Certificate of Vaccination and anyone found on airport without it, will be in isolation up to six days! I hope I helped a bit! |
