Do Strip Hotels ever have cheaper weekend rates?

I am considering visiting Las Vegas next month and I would like to know if there are some cheaper options when it comes to the staying at hotel? It is possible that I will go by a car, so the place should not be downtown. Still, I would like to know do Strip hotels ever have cheaper weekend rates?

I know that they do, but you have to find out when. I mean, I guess that they give the discounts depending on the profit they made lately, so I guess it could be possible that you cannot find any discounts at all. Since you have a car, it would not be a bad idea to stay in some place near Vegas, like Jean and Primm. The hotels there are very nice, and the prices are a lot lower.
