Is it possible to walk all the way to Yampupata from Copacabana?

Hi! Can anyone here help me prepare for my trip to Copacabana this summer? I have wanted to go to Bolivia for ages, attracted both by the fact that it is not full of tourists, and by the cheap prices and great nature. Can you tell me whether it is possible to walk all the way from Copacabana to Yampupata?

It is possible, and you should do so! Make this an event in its own, and don't think of doing this before your boat trip (really, this should be compulsory!) to Isla del Sol. You see, the boats leave really early and it won't be much fun. Anyway, the walk will take you about five hours, or four if you can walk quickly!
