Are there good beaches at Marina Del Rey?

I will go to Marina Del Ray as you know California for my next vacation. I have never been there so I would like to know what kind of beaches it has. Because I am planning to have "snoring on the beach vacation", that is most important thing for me to know. Have you ever been there?

I just hope that with your snoring on the beach you wont disturb the whales while they were passing you through, LOL. Well it is L.A. so how could you expect that it doesn't have great beaches, Mothers Beach counted in that group of great ones. In case that you get tired of this place then you could take a short walk to Venice beach. Although i have no idea how you picked this place for snoring, it has a great night life!
