What's the weather in summer in Armenia?

What is the weather in summer in Armenia? My boyfriend who is a musician insists on our going there this summer because through his college education he has heard many great things about this country. I don’t like countries with harsh climate. I wouldn’t go there if it is chilly and unpleasant. Do you have any experiences from this country and what are they like?

Well, don’t be so negative towards Armenia. I notice that people mainly have some not so pleasant remarks about going to this country. They probably think that this is a place in the middle of nowhere and they think that it is boring. But they are usually pleasantly surprised when they get there. The climate in Armenia is continental and that actually means that summers are sunny and mild. The temperature is not so high and is ideal for sightseeing. The weather in summer is usually dry and there is little precipitation. I’ve heard that there is a great waterworld near Yerevan or in Yerevan itself and you can go there and have some fun when you’re not visiting historical monuments.
