one week in Luxor

Hello! I am in Cairo right now having a drink in my hotel room and I was thinking of having a whole one week in Luxor starting from Wednesday so is there anyone to tell me about Luxor attractions and what is it the best there to be seen and do and would I have enough time for visiting this place for I would only spent one week in Luxor?

Well one week in Luxor to see whole its attractions and beautiful places there in Luxor-no, I don't think one week in Luxor could cover all this. Just think about it there is so much to see in Luxor-kings Valley, Karnak's temple and many other temples there such as Luxor one but try to visit Tomb of Queen Nefertiti – I was amazed with this tomb decorations describing scenes of the souls journey to the underworld-I love this place. And still there are so many things and interesting places in Luxor and don't miss a boat ride down the Nile starting from Luxor but still having one week in Luxor is perfect and it would be pity not visiting this ancient town really.
