Why do people, especially men, like safari so much?

| My boyfriend has become obsessed with safari. He has been talking about it lately so much that it made me sick. He has now decided to go on one and asked me to join him but I refused. It is so stupid and I don’t want to waste my time on that. Why do people, especially men, like safari so much? |

| I guess that it is a remnant of an old instinct of a hunter that lies in most of the men. It gives a thrill, excitement and reminder of our masculinity. If your boyfriend has a perfume or shoe shop and sells perfumes or shoes to women or old ladies every day this doesn’t help him feel like a man at all. While this may be an honest job which could even bring him decent earnings, this is not something our ancestors were designed to do. So he has an urge to do something that would make his testosterone rush through his body just to remind him that he is alive. Don’t hold it against him. Join him and help him to make this trip a memorable vacation. He will appreciate it, believe me. |
