What are your recommendations for New Delhi trip

Hi! I am planning my first trip to Asia. I am going to India and plan to visit New Delhi. I didn’t find much about that city. I have only a short list of places which I want to see. I need a recommendation about the hotel where to stay. I plan to stay there for 5 nights. Thank you very much in advance!

My suggestion is to book at Uppal's Orchid Hotel. That is Indian first eco friendly hotel. It is located about 3km far from the airport. Rooms are nice, big enough, well equipped with mini bar, tea and coffee maker, TV. Rooms are well furnished. There is also a good restaurant with international cuisine.
