Being a tourist in Tokyo?

Can you tell me how is it to be a tourist in Tokyo? I plan on going there next year when I gather enough money and I guess I would just like to know what to expect. I am trying to learn as much as I can about the Japanese culture and history so that I don’t be completely ignorant when I land in Tokyo.

Well, I assume that it is a good thing that you are trying to learn as much as possible about the place you wish to go, I guess that it will be easier for you to understand their customs and habits. And do save money, Tokyo is one of the most expensive cities in the world, if you don’t plan on getting some job there, you should carry as much cash as you can.
