| My sister and I have finally decided that Tokyo should be seen and visited. I guess it took us three years for this step because we know that Japan is not cheap and that if you want to have a good time, you really need an impressive amount of money. Anyway, we are not acquainted with the life there, public transports (what do we get from a rail pass we buy in Tokyo, for example), hotel options (or maybe some youth hostel). Can you help us out here? |

| I think that you are worrying a bit too much. Perhaps you should do some online research and see for the cheapest accommodation there. Maybe even try finding some friend’s friend’s friend that lives there and who might be your host while you’re in Japan. And yes, there are youth hostels, even hotels for strangers that should be quite affordable. On the other hand, life is not cheap, and things like transport (bus or rail) pass that lasts for a week or even a month might help a lot in saving the budget. |
