Hi. I have been to Singapore a couple of times on business now, and I have now decided it would be good for the firm if I stayed on longer, guiding the project we are working on from a local location. But what would the visa requirements be like if I wanted to stay on longer? Does anyone have any additional information?

You will need to apply for the so called "Z Visa", in other countries know as a work permit or a green card. This is not too difficult if arranged on invitation by one of the local firms you are working with. It is a bit of a long process with a lot of red tape though, and will cost you a bob or two as well. But never mind, you will get there in the end.
