Hi everyone! I want to go on holiday to Mexico this year. I am from the United States and I am just wondering what I need in order to travel to Mexico. Would a passport be compulsory or could I also just go there and cross the border with some other form of identification? Thanks for any answers.

Of course you need a passport. And what would stop you from just applying for one and travel to Mexico with no problem? O no, I forgot, there is, in fact, another little details. You don't just need a passport, you also need a visa. So hurry up and arrange all that there is to arrange for your trip!
