I am curious about one thing: where can I exchange money in Tokyo?
I should go there this Friday on a business trip, and since it will be my first time in this city, and in Japan too, I would really appreciate to hear this. Will I have to go to banks in order to do that, or there are ATMs?

There are ATMs, but based on my experience, it is not a smart decision to exchange your money there, because you will be charged with higher provision.
I used to exchange money either at the hotel or at the airport in Japan, and it turned out to be a good choice, so my advice is you do the same.
