How can I get from Narita Airport to Kyoto?

Is there anyone who would be kind enough to explain to me how I can get from Narita Airport to Kyoto? I should travel next week, and it will be my first time in Japan and Kyoto, so I could really use some help with this. Any advice will be appreciated.

Well, it can be a bit more complicated, especially if it will be your first time there, but my advice is to fly from Narita Airport to Itami Airport in Osaka, and then catch a bus to Kyoto. It is much better and easier than to go to another Tokyo airport by bus, and fly to Itami Airport, and then catch a bus to Kyoto again.
