Accommodation for two single women in Brisbane?

Hi! My best friend and I have both just experienced a lot of trouble in our lives and have split up with our boyfriends. We have decided to travel a bit in order to try and get over it. We are heading for Brisbane. Could anyone recommend a nice hotel out there for the two of us? Thanks very much in advance for any help!

Brisbane is by no means short of nice hotels, of any kind you would want to go to. Personally I would recommend either the local Marriott, which is of course of a high standard and also very conveniently located, or the Hilton, which is also very nice. How low are you planning to stay in Brisbane? Please let me know if you need any more info.
