| Hi! I am going to be travelling to Australia, and then New Zealand this year, and I am just looking into all the possibilities. You know, what to do, what to avoid... Basically I am planning the itinerary. I would love to see the real New Zealand and avoid the tourist hot spots which will blur my view of the actual culture and atmosphere of the place. How do I go about this? |

| Wherever you happen to go, there are always locals that live in any place, and if you go beyond the typical tourist areas, you will be able to uncover the true identity of any place. The same goes for New Zealand. Probe a bit deeper, blend in, and you will be satisfied that you are getting the real thing. Travel to as many different places as you can, and don't plan too much in advance so you can move on if you don;t like a place. |
