Copacabana vs Porto Real experience?

I can’t make up my mind – should I go to Copacabana or Porto Real? I hope there is someone here who could compare his or her Copacabana vs. Porto Real experience. I adore Mexico and Brazil almost equally and would like to visit both these resorts. But which one can wait? Can you tell me something about the beaches and the hotels?

Copacabana in Rio de Janeiro is a fascinating beach zone, which is about 4km long. I would also like to travel there one day, but for the time being I’ve visited Gran Porto Real at Playa del Carmen only. It is a 5 star resort and every star is justified. What should I say, I had really great time. The hotel is in possession of a hacienda owner and you have the feeling that you are enjoying the precious moments at your own hacienda in which everything is decorated the way you liked. The hotel interior is exclusive, but the exterior is truly impressive – the white sand beach bathed in Caribbean waves.
