I need some info regarding Lima and Cuzco altitude I am actually planning on visiting Peru or more precisely Cuzco is the place I would like to visit most for I am curious to see some Inca ruins and I have heard that Cuzco is such a place but I have also heard it is located on a mountain area. The thing is that I worry about acclimatization and I wouldn’t like to miss the chance to visit Lima also –I suppose I will have a flight to Lima so I actually would also like to hear if there is any organized tour involving visiting Cuzco and some other interesting places and also I need some Lima and Cuzco altitude info.

Ok so you are planning on having some Peru around trip but you are very concern over acclimatization and I have very precise info regarding Lima and Cuzco altitude so Lima is at 411 ft and Cuzco is about 1300m and I don’t think it would be a problem for you to acclimatize. Anyway there is an infohub tour operator in Peru that organizes this Peru trips and tours and I don’t know how much you are ready to pay for it but I paid about 1500$ last year and the tour takes 7 days and it involves visit to Cuzco on the 1st day by flight from Lima –the thing is that usually accommodation there in Cuzco is being organized at the Posada del Inca Hotel where the tourists stay in for the whole morning just to get acclimatized to the high altitude there –the hotel is actually at more than 10.000ft. but also there is another opt for those like you are concerning about altitude that is acclimatization so you may arrange to have a stay there at a lower altitude of about 8.500ft in the Urubamba Valley.
