| Hi, I might be having couple of days free in San Francisco during the summertime, like the last 2-3 days of July, so I was kind of wandering where is the best place to hike and to get back in San Francisco (like some places that are not too far away)? Any help and replies are highly appreciated! Thanks! |

| The best places to hike (around San Francisco) is in the Mount Tamalpais – the area of Point Reyes, across the Golden Gate bridge and west of Marine. There are also Muir Woods near, which are great for some extensive trails. Yosemite valley is also very good, but it’s usually packed during the summertime. |
