| Winter in Canada is really something special. There are many things you can try and enjoy there during the season like snowshoeing, dog-sledding, snowmobiling, ice-fishing and many other activities. Everything seems different, nicer and cleaner when covered with snow. The cities, including the biggest ones are different. There is charming Winter Carnival and ice hotel (the only one in North America, as far as I know) in Quebec City. If you go to Montreal, you can enjoy wonderful outdoor shows at the Montreal High Lights festival. Ottawa can welcome you with its winter carnival called Winterlude and offer skating on the longest skating rink in the world, Rideau Canal. Then there are many ski resorts with everything you can imagine for skiing and related sports. I think that you will have a memorable winter in Canada. |
