How to plan 1 week in Tuscany?

I am hoping that you can help me plan this trip! My boyfriend and I will be visiting Italy in a few weeks, and have every intention of enjoying ourselves to the max! We have heard that Tuscany is really nice and we have decided to spend a week there. Have you any suggestions on how to plan this week? Thanks and regards.

Florence is the capital of the region and as such a must. It is a charming and historical town. Siena is a smaller place and one that has been very popular with tourists in recent years. Remember that this is the wine country and when you are there, organise a wine tasting! Smaller towns like San Gusme are perfect for that!
