Hello! I am going in Brazil again this year but this time I wish I could see some of the Amazon jungle. I actually already booked a hotel room in Manaus –I will be going there with two of my friends and we are very curious to have some jungle trip in Manaus I suppose they are being organized but it is just that I would like to hear what this jungle trip to Manaus looks alike before I get there. Thanks!

Hi! Having a jungle trip in Manaus -that would be a real jungle experience! I was on that trip few years ago and this was actually 3 day jungle trip in Manaus though the agencies are offering some other opt such as even 1 day jungle trip to Manaus. Anyway I think that camping in jungle is more authentic jungle experience-so I was camping there for 3 nights and I was even fishing the piranhas but I never touched them anyway local people even swim in the Amazon with those fishes around –they say it is only important you are not bleeding and the piranhas won't touch you. You will see alligators and you will flow down the Amazon. I was surprised to see the dolphins –I never knew there are river dolphins at all and what is even more amazing these jungle dolphins there are of such strong pink color-just amazing! Anyway we ate there fresh fish and salad and I was not hungry at all. The last day we had an jungle walk and what to say –it is an unforgettable experience though must admit I haven't managed to sleep under the stars in this camp for it was not for the fear that much as it was for the unbelievable jungle noises coming from everywhere.
