I plan to book a vacation for me and my family on Antigua and Barbuda. I have seen some brochures and the beaches, as well as, everything else seems wonderful. According to them, Antigua and Barbuda have a dry and pleasant climate throughout the year, but I’m almost certain that since it is in the Caribbean Sea, there must be a hurricane season. When is it?
The brochures don’t lie! Antigua and Barbuda have even drier climate than the other countries form the Lesser Antilles archipelago, and the weather is very pleasant throughout the year. But it is true that hurricanes are possible on Antigua and Barbuda. I’m not sure if they are as devastating as on some other places, but it is good to know when you can expect them to occur. According to some weather reports, hurricane season on Antigua and Barbuda lasts from June to November. That is the period when you should be careful and watch weather forecast. And if you are afraid, then you should avoid summer in this archipelago and go there when no hurricanes are expected.
