how to find hotel in Venice?

Hi there, I will be in Venice in two days time and I have not booked a hotel yet. As you can understand I am panicking a bit. I dont want to end up in some dodgy lodgings. Does anyone know where in Venice I can find a good hotel at short notice? Thanks very much in advance.

Hi to you too. Not too worry, there is a tourist service at the airport and if you have not booked a hotel in advance you can just go there and they will find you a suitable hotel for you. Sometimes you can even get great deals this way, and it might take you places you might not otherwise have gone. They have all levels of hotel available so you dont need to worry at all.

Hi,
my friend has been in Venice one time end he had a room in nice looking hotel. As I understood him, he has used the tourist agency at the airport, and they found him a room in few minutes. Hotel name was Ruzzini Palace Hotel, and by the look of the pictures it a very nice hotel. He said that the people there were very polite and that he enjoined his vacation.
Oh yes he has mentioned that the food is also delicious.
