hotel suggestions for Singapore?

Hi. I am taking advantage of a great deal on my ticket to Singapore and I am flying in three weeks time. Only I have not yet booked any hotel and not only that, but I have no idea at all on where to stay! Can you help me out please? Where can I find a nice hotel for a reasonable price in Singapore?

I have recently been there so I think I can tell you a thing or two. I stayed at the Concorde for around $60 a night. I enjoyed my stay there and though the price was very much OK. Be careful in Singapore, as many hotels have very thin walls through which you can hear everything the people in the room next door are getting up to.
