Do you have any hotel suggestions at Isla Mujeres? I didn't want to go there because for every other place I could find somebody who was there and can tell me inside info, but my friend insisted on this island in particular. I know why he did it, but I can't explain to him that it is just the Islands name, nothing else.

Make your friend read what I have to say about Isla Mujeres. That is just a name and nothing else. I was thinking there is something more then the name, but no there is not. But it doesn't mean that there are no great places to stay in. I will give you the name of my hotel and then of two more that some members of my family visited as well. My hotel was called Casa de los Sueos Resort & Spa Zenter and their two Hotel Villa Rolandi Gourmet & Beach Club and Hotel Belmar. You will not make mistakes if you visit any of these three places.
