| What are great places to eat in Malaga? Wherever I go, I want to taste the traditional cuisine, and I dont like to eat in mainstream corporate restaurant chains with fast food. I like Mediterranean cuisine and lifestyle, so you can suggest where I can look for genuine Andalusian cuisine. And, tell me some of the dishes I must not miss the opportunity to taste. |

| Andalusian cuisine is mostly based on a wide variety of fish. Youve probably heard of gazpacho, a kind of cold soup, and its a local Andalusian dish which is great refreshment during summer days. When on the beach, look for chiringuito, which means a beach bar, and order espeto sardines. Malaga has many restaurants, from those Micheline rated restaurants to shabby little tapas bars, and its up to you and your budget to decide where to go. This region is also famous for its sweet wines, I recommend you to try aguardiente de Ojn, which is, actually, the anise liqueur Andalusians drink with their morning coffee. Malaga is a great place for gastronomic pleasures. |
