drinks prices on boards

I need some info on drink prices on boards. The thing is that I booked a 6 night cruising trip and I heard recently that drink prices are pretty much high on cruising ships. I mean could it be that much expensive- I will be cruising along with 6 of my friends and we are planning on having fun there meaning I would have at least 3 or 5 beers daily so whats drink prices on boards?

I think the top drink price on board is about 7$ though it all depends on with which company you will be having this cruising trip and the beer price is the lowest about 3$ or even less on these cheaper cruise lines. Anyway I dont think the drink prices on board is that much high for you know it would only be about few drinks for the 6 days and the meals are already calculated with your cruising trip card?
