do you have a hard time separating from the roles they play?

For me: Brian Dennehy and Fred Hunt are always bad guys. I can see them that way in real life. (Not that I spend an inordinate amount of time thinking about Fred Hunt or Brian Dennehy. yech.) puke

Cameron Diaz and Sandra Bullock seem like they are lovable goofs in real life, too.

I would cross the street if I ever saw Christopher Walken. (I'm sure he's a very nice man)

How can Christopher Walken not be a psycho...creepy guy...great actor, yes, but creepy...

And I saw Cameron Diaz this morning on Good Morning America, she actually seems as bubbly/sweet as a lot of her characters are.

It always freaks me out to hear Megan Mulally (major sp? the woman who plays Karen on Will and Grace) speak off the show. Her voice actually sounds normal! Shocked

Bob Keeshan - Could you ever picture him as someone other than Captain Kangaroo?

I once had a FREAKY mirage type illusion thing happen to me when I was 10 years old. My mom came into my room to wake me up. She turned on the lights. I opened my eyes and Captain Kangaroo (transparent-like) comes walking out behind her and towards me!!!

I started screaming and pointing..."OH MY GOSH!!! IT's Captain Kangaroo!!! Don't YOU SEE HIM??!!!!"

he disapeared when he got to the foot of my bed.

My brother and Mom just stared at me in disbelief.

I still can't explain it. But to answer your question, PH...Yes, I would like to sock Keeshan in the kidneys.

Ralph Fiennes... can only see the elegance in him no matter the role. Would think of him the same in real life.

Harvey Kietel... always think of him as the actor who has to give the full monty (a la The Piano, and that obscure cop movie that I can't remember the name of). I would be thinking about that if I ever met him.

Kevin Kline... he's typecast in my mind as an intelligent goof the only exception being A Fish Called Wanda when he's a intelligence-challenged goof. Would think that he's the same in real life yet again.

I remember watching Four Seasons way back when and he takes a wine bottle and smackes his wife (?) upside the head with it and both my wife and I were like, "Did you see what Hawkeye just did?" Shocked
