I think there is a solution to your problem, but Im afraid that it doesnt include the solid ground, again! This time you may get seasickness and nausea. There are ferry lines that connect ports in the North Sea. But the problem is that there is no a direct line between Stockholm and Amsterdam so that your journey can be a bit complicated. You can travel by ferry from Stockholm along the Swedish coast to Malm, and then again by ferry to Rostock from where you can rent a car to Amsterdam. It seems to me that youll have to stick to flying, because this other plan would take you days to get from Stockholm to Amsterdam.

Hello. During the past few weeks I spent countless hours in planed and I sick of it! I feel like an astronaut who just back from a long stay in weightless conditions. Thats way I need to change the means of transportation and avoid flying whenever it is possible. Next week I have to get from Stockholm to Amsterdam. Is flying the only solution to travel between these two cities?
